Our vision

The Religious Studies curriculum aims to encourage pupils to explore, question and engage with matters of religion, ethics and spirituality. We aim to develop pupils’ knowledge and understanding of various religions, their beliefs and practices, as well as their influence on the lives of individuals, communities and society. We seek to develop pupils’ critical thinking skills and encourage them to develop and express their own views confidently in a respectful and inclusive environment where every pupil, regardless of religious background or experience, feels valued and heard.
