AS Biology students visited Portaferry to conduct Biology fieldwork on the shore of Ballyhenry. They set off in their waterproof gear ready for a day of adventure. During the morning the students set up a line transect to investigate the different species of seaweed living on the shore. After lunch, they headed into Exploris Aquarium for a guided tour through the fascinating exhibits. The tour ended by visiting the seal hospital and seeing the lovely penguins and otters.
A great day out had by all.
