Full Marks In A Level Art

Bloomfield Collegiate School’s Art Department is celebrating yet another year of success, with top Northern Ireland GCSE and A-Level results, Glasgow and Edinburgh College of Art places and exhibition entries.

A2-level student Rachel W from Ballyhackamore, achieved joint first in Northern Ireland in A2-level Art and Design and was successful in having her work selected for CCEA’S True Colours exhibition which is currently being held in the Ulster Museum. Rachel has gone on to study natural science at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge.

A2-Level student Sarah R from Newtownards achieved an A* and has gone on to study Fine Art Painting and Printmaking at Glasgow School of Art and A2-level student Lily B from Ballyhackamore achieved an A grade and has gone on to study Performance Costume Design at Edinburgh College of Art.

AS-level student Polly McD from Dundonald achieved top marks at AS-Level Art and Design and was also successful in having her work selected for True Colours. Polly has continued on to study A2-level Art and Design

GCSE students Pippa B and Aynsley L, both from Ballyhackamore, Lauren McD from Holywood, and Emma H from Dundonald all received full marks in GCSE Art and Design. They are all currently studying AS Level Art and Design at school, and hope to continue to A2 Level.  All have art college firmly in their sights.
