SistersIN girls attended the Danske Bank Inspiring Entrepreneurs event at Belfast City Hall on Wednesday, 19th November. This event included gaining an insight into the entrepreneurial journey of Alice Thompson and Ashleigh Averell, who are both award-winning businesswomen. It was truly inspiring to hear not only the highs of their journey but also how they have dealt with the challenges of running a successful business.
The SistersIN programme provides the opportunity for our girls to receive mentoring from leading female professionals who will offer advice and guidance as the girls embark upon an individual leadership project. The girls recently organised and hosted a coffee morning for their professional mentors on Thursday, 20th November. This was a great opportunity to meet their mentors face- to -face and begin networking with women who are leaders in a wide range of professions.
