Year 11 trip to Whale Headquarters

Year 11 and AS level Technology and Design students made a visit to Whale Pumps to view their R&D and manufacturing plant in Bangor.

Their manufacturing systems, which included an impressive range of injection moulding machines and two rapid prototyping machines, gave the students a useful insight into how industry uses technology in the real world outside of the classroom workshop.
