Some of our dancers had the wonderful opportunity to participate in a workshop organised by the Northern Ballet, a Leeds based touring ballet company. We were very fortunate to have the talented Keisha Hamilton come in to Bloomfield Collegiate and take a three-hour workshop.
It was a great morning. The girls began by learning some basic ballet steps before progressing on to learn a sequence from the Northern Ballet’s production ‘Victoria’. It was lovely to hear some classical music coming from the assembly hall for a change.
On Thursday 30th May we were lucky enough to be able to go to the Grand Opera House, Belfast to watch a performance of ‘Victoria’. It really was mesmerising and the girls had an unforgettable experience.
