Hello!
Our team at Dramarama Performing Arts Academy is offering Bloomfield Collegiate School pupils extracurricular speech and drama, and acting classes. These classes are to take place on a Thursday afternoon from 3:20pm to 4:30pm in BCS’s own drama studio, exclusively for Years 8, 9 and 10.
As speech and drama teachers working under the LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) curriculum, we offer our pupils the unique opportunity to perfect their performance skills and work towards building more confidence on the stage, and having fun while doing it! Additionally, we also provide the opportunity for students to take their speech and drama and acting examinations at the end of the academic year.
The work which we will be undertaking with our students will be aimed towards building confidence and developing acting technique and stage presence. If interested, we will also be working towards achieving speaking in verse and prose grades, and acting grades, but only if a pupil wants to do so. These grades increase a student’s academic record of achievement and also provide valuable UCAS points for when they are applying to University in sixth year.
Classes cost £7 per pupil per class. Payable on a term by term basis.
Autumn Term will last 12 weeks. Total for the term will be £84.
Notes will be sent home at the beginning of the term with permission slips attached if this interests your child, simply sign and send back into school with them; alternatively you may contact me directly using the details below to ensure a place.
Classes for the Autumn term will begin on Thursday 15th September 2016 and run to Thursday 8th December 2016
Many thanks,
