Year 13 studied the novel No et Moi by Delphine de Vigan as part of their AS Level French literature curriculum. The novel focuses on the life and challenges of Nolwenne, a young homeless teenager living in Paris. The character of Nolwenne touched our hearts and, as a class, we wanted to do something to make the Nolwennes of this world a little bit more comfortable.
Fodhla, Isabel, Lydia, Ewa, Amelia and Nisa decided to contribute to Another World Belfast, a local homeless charity. The girls each created a Love Pack, consisting of toiletries and clothes, to be distributed amongst young people living on the streets of Belfast. We hope we made a small difference in the run up to the Christmas period.
