KS3 pupils have been participating in a sponsored ‘ReadOn’ to raise money for Cancer Fund for Children.
An impressive total of £1181.50 was raised overall and was presented to the charity at our KS3 assembly.
As well as encouraging pupils to read for pleasure and discover lots of different books and authors, the money raised helps support children and their families impacted by cancer. The donations fund, for example, relaxing short breaks for children and their families at Daisy Lodge in Newcastle as well as individual support sessions.
