Year 10 embraced Fair Trade week by making “Pocket Purses”
Their creations were made from recycled materials and this gave a helpful insight into what it would be like to be a producer in a Fair Trade country.
Discussions centred on benefits of Fair Trade to the country, community and individuals. This work culminated in a display outside the Assembly Hall, to help raise the awareness of all pupils.
Catriona C addressed Junior Assembly, explaining what her class had achieved and urging us all to think about purchasing Fair Trade products.
