Working with Engage with Age during lockdown, Mrs Hannah, Head of the Home Economics Department, hosted an online cookery class to promote healthy eating. She also created a book featuring the delicious recipes from the sessions.
Cathy Chambers, a BCS past pupil and development officer for the charity, organised a group of fifteen lovely ladies to join some of our Year 13 pupils in a cookery class in school. It was a fantastic event and they loved being part of the BCS community – even swapping their own aprons for our BCS blues.
Everyone is already looking forward to the next session.
