Pupils from Years 12 and 13 spent a day at Ulster University as part of the Catalyst Inc. Invent celebrations. Pupils took part in workshops looking at areas from product design to team building. Part of the day involved the pupils judging the finalists for the Invent 2017 awards.
They listened to pitches from students from across Northern Ireland who had developed innovative solutions to everyday problems. It was a busy day and everyone got a taste for the opportunities that exist in the world of innovation, engineering and product design.
