In June 2019, the GCSE and A level Art students put on an exhibition to showcase our coursework and final pieces from that year. It allowed our families and friends to view our artwork, as well as giving us a chance to be proud of our achievements and reflect on our outcomes with our peers. There was a lovely atmosphere at the exhibition, as hours of hard work had finally paid off.
Each year group displayed their work in their own room, giving us all lots of space to install our pieces in the most effective way. Our guests were then able to walk freely around the Art Department, allowing them to fully appreciate each candidate’s display. It was an excellent experience to have been able to showcase our work with our studio group, as we worked so closely together all year.
