Congratulations to Kathryn McB who has been selected by the Year 13 pupils and staff as the new Head Girl. Well done also to Olivia E and Abbie W who are the new Deputy Head Girls.
The girls have just been presented with their new Senior Team ties which have been introduced this year. The colour of the new tie is taken from the Old Girls’ scarf which consisted of the school colours; green, silver and blue, together with a purple stripe. The latter was based on the toga praetexta worn by magistrates in Rome. That toga had a fringe of purple indicating seniority, distinction and recognition.
We would like to thank the outgoing team of Eve C (Head Girl), Lucy B (Deputy Head Girl) and Kathryn McK (Deputy Head Girl) for providing such effective student leadership this year.
