As our Pastoral Vice-Principal, Dr Lindsey Finch has been an inspirational mentor and a constant source of guidance and support. For thirteen years, she has been the pupils’ confidante, their unofficial counsellor and a genuine friend. Dr Finch had her unique ways of calming pupils and settling quarrels – arts and crafts, Japanese braiding and colouring in were only a few of the activities on offer. They arrived at her office in floods of tears and left with smiles.
Staff have always appreciated her composure, patience and compassion. Dr Finch sorted out everyone’s problems with efficiency and diligence, and much of the School’s deserved reputation for pastoral care is down to her meticulous and caring approach. We owe her a huge debt of gratitude.
We wish her all the best in her new ventures and enjoys her well-earned retirement.
