Bike Week is a celebration of cycling promoted by TravelwiseNI the sustainable travel team within the Department for Regional Development taking place this year from 15 to 23 June.
Throughout the week TravelwiseNI will collaborate with local councils, employers, schools and cycling organisations to promote a wide variety of cycling events for public participation including Bike to School Day on 19 and Bike to Work Day on 21 June. In preparation for the events, Transport Minister Danny Kennedy is calling on young artists in post primary schools here to enter a competition to design the official T-shirt for Bike Week 2013.
