Congratulations to Lily, Annie, Michelle, Nadia and Rosie who won the Creativity Award for the most innovative Internet of Things idea at the PwC Hive Academy. After great effort and effective collaboration, the pupils conceptualised an app that can track the nutritional values of your food.
They pitched their idea to PwC experts on a “Dragons Den” in the boardroom. It was quite a nerve-wracking competition but our team showcased the application and development of their app with confidence and won their award and a £50 Amazon voucher.
Thank you to all the girls that took part in the competition. It was a good opportunity to learn basic business and financial skills with real engagement in STEM.
