Congratulations to all our pupils who received their GCSE results today. It was terrific to see so many smiling faces and sighs of relief!
Examinations are always incredibly tough, but you should be particularly proud of your achievements because you have met the considerable challenge of the new subject specifications.
The results are very pleasing and there are many impressive individual successes and stories.
With more pupils gaining the important 7 A*-C grades, some departments are already reporting they are above the average for Grammar schools in Northern Ireland. 100% A*-B in Art is outstanding.
Jenna P and Sophie S achieved 10 A*-A, another eight pupils were awarded 9 A*-A, and eleven girls had 7 or 8 A*-A. Our youngest pupil to achieve the top mark was Nia Y in Year 9 who completed her GCSE Chinese (Mandarin).
Well done!
We would like to thank staff and parents for your hard work and tremendous support.
