True Colours is a prestigious exhibition in the Ulster Museum that showcases exceptional GCSE and A Level artwork.
Four students from Bloomfield had their work presented: Betsy B and Connie R from GCSE Art and Design, Caitlyn H’s AS Level artwork and Katie Faulkner’s A Level artwork. The opening night gave us a chance to dress up, be inspired by a variety of outstanding artwork and proudly present our own work. This exhibition gives students the opportunity to experience being part of an exhibition and to see their work installed among artists of the same age range and calibre as their own work. There is nothing as inspiring for young aspiring artists than experiencing your work in a real world exhibition context.
