Years 8 and 9 have this term taken part once again in the Bookbuzz initiative.  This is run by the charity Booktrust and is aimed at encouraging pupils to read for pleasure by offering them a book of their own from a choice of 12, covering a variety of genres in order to provide as wide-ranging a choice as possible.  The most popular titles this year were Narinder Dhami’s exciting thriller “13 Hours” and Pamela Butchart’s novel “Petunia Perry and the Curse of the Ugly Pigeon”.  All 12 books on offer were chosen at least once.
