Year 10 embraced Fair Trade week by making “Pocket Purses”
Their creations were made from recycled materials and this gave a helpful insight into what it would be like to be a producer in a Fair Trade country.
Discussions centred on benefits of Fair Trade to the country, community and individuals.
This work culminated in a display outside the Assembly Hall, to help raise the awareness of all pupils.
Catriona Clarke addressed Junior Assembly, explaining what her class had achieved and urging us all to think about purchasing Fair Trade products.
