Thank you to Aimie C, Natalie C, Lucy B and Jasmine G for delivering a presentation in assembly focusing on how we can all be safer online. The members of the school iTeam used the acronym “T.R.A.P.” to outline internet hazards:
Trust – No-one
Report – Strangers
Available – To Everyone
Protect – Yourself
The internet is an integral part of our pupil’s lives and offers many positive opportunities. It is important that we understand how we can keep our ourselves safe from harm but is equally important that we are all equipped with the skills we need to experience the Internet positively and responsibly.
The school takes e-safety very seriously and the pupils conveyed the theme of “Have fun online but avoid the T.R.A.P” very effectively.
